Repair Services
- Rental units offered while your unit is being serviced or repaired (not available for all products) – with AMECare plans, rental units can be sent prior to scheduled service for minimal downtime.
- Parts are stocked in several locations worldwide to minimize customer downtime.
- Fast repair and rapid turnaround of instruments when instruments are returned to a MOCON factory or at an authorized local distributor.

Your instrument is a sophisticated, precise measurement tool. To keep it operating at its maximum productivity levels, we recommend that you use only AMETEK MOCON certified parts. All of our parts are guaranteed to perform to our rigorous design specifications.
For Dansensor Packaging Testing Instruments, we offer 3 types of pre-sale testing:
1. Product Qualification – Basic
2. Pre-Sales test - Detailed
3. Pre-Sales test - Detailed, incl. video and extended report
Requests for tests must be submitted through
your local sales and service provider.
Prices for package testing vary by country – speak with your local sales representative for more information. Detailed testing is always subject to a service charge.
Product Qualification
This type of testing assists with determining if the instrument is the right choice for a certain product or package type. You will receive a simple description that tells whether the instrument is a recommended solution or not. No details like values, settings, or picture documentation are provided.
- Expected turnaround time is 3-5 working days (after sample packages are received)
- Minimum sample quantity: 10
- Price: Free of charge in some regions. Ask your local sales representative what the price is in your region.
Detailed Testing
Focus on complete testing and parameter verification. You will receive a detailed report that explains all settings, values, recommended parts list, and findings related to this test. Details will include limited pictures of setup and testing performed, graphs of measurements, etc. This is done to assist customers with finding the correct setup for their products.
- Expected turnaround time is 1-2 weeks (after sample packages are received)
- Maximum 3 different packaging types
- Minimum sample quantity of each type: 25
If several test types are required (e.g. Burst, Creep, Leak) the minimum sample quantity of each packaging type is 50.

Detailed testing, incl. video and extended report
In addition to the features explained in “Detailed testing”, this report contains further pictures, graphs, and video recordings of all package test types. Video recordings are to ensure all the testing is easily reproduced by customers and can be used by customers to build their own standard operating procedure (SOP).
