The Dansensor® CheckMate 4 is our premier headspace gas analyzer – a compact tabletop instrument that combines extreme accuracy and reliability with an intuitive user experience.
You can trust the Dansensor CheckMate 4 to quickly provide accurate and precise measurements – every time – even on packages with extremely limited headspace. For example, the CheckMate 4 SV (model for small volume headspace) ensures accurate oxygen measurements by inserting the probe into the package during testing, instead of withdrawing a sample of gas.
Save test settings for up to 1000 products on the instrument to ensure complete and comparable data records. Quickly switch between product test settings on-screen or by scanning the product’s barcode with the op-tional barcode scanner.
Automated data storage of up to 1,000,000 tests on the instrument ensures accuracy and speed by eliminating the time and risk associated with manual data entry. In addition, data can be transferred via LAN in real time (or via USB drive) to the optional PC software or third-party software. This fast and secure data transfer makes it easy to monitor data across multiple packaging lines and prepare for audits.
This focus on maximizing reliability and uptime is also apparent in the instrument’s unique functional design. The instrument is made up of two components – the control unit and an exchangeable sensor module. This means it is now possible to update the instrument’s sensor module with a newly calibrated module on-site in minutes, eliminating costly and time-consuming service downtime.*

Service & Support Options
This tabletop headspace analyzer is often used directly at the packaging line to quality check that MAP packages contain the correct gas mixture. Use the Manual Spot or Auto Spot measuring modes to test for:
- O2 content
- O2 and CO2 content
It is suitable for a wide variety of food, beverage, pharmaceutical and medical packages that utilize a modified atmosphere, including packages with minimal headspace.
Some examples of our customers’ applications include: Snack Foods - Bakery - Pizza - Meats & Cheese - Nuts - Fish - Fruit, Salads & Vegetables - Pet Foods - Pharmaceutical Packaging - Medical Devices
Alternatively, use the Intermittent measuring mode in the laboratory for testing new package designs and materials and conducting shelf-life studies. The Continuous mode can help you ensure your gas mixer is adjusted correctly and is useful in selected research experiments.
