Unpacking New Products and Team Wins in 2023
As the industry leaders in permeation and package testing for nearly six decades, we’re
proud to close out another year and celebrate our team’s success in 2023 as we plan for
2024.
In Q1, we launched our
MultiCheck 2, a headspace analyzer specifically and uniquely
designed for the coffee industry. Manufacturers who need to ensure their packaging is up
to industry standards use MultiCheck 2 to make sure the flavor and smell of their
high-quality coffees are preserved throughout shipping and merchandising. Unlike other
headspace analyzers, the MultiCheck 2 has sensors and filters specifically designed for
coffee package testing. Its available valve testing unit can even confirm proper degassing,
checking for leaks and proper release action all while conducting its analysis 50% faster
than previous designs.
Q2 brought our new
eCommerce platform to life, allowing our U.S. customers to seamlessly
browse, select and purchase new instruments. They can even order replacement or extra
parts for instruments they already own. Customers can also view their order history to
easily order the correct replacement parts and supplies without worrying about choosing
the wrong products. As we strive to continue serving our customers in a virtual world,
we’re proud of the way our new webstore has provided a straightforward customer
experience.
At the close of the year, we introduced our
CheckMate 4, which provides versatile package
testing that meets your specific needs. With single and multi-package spot testing as well
as interval-measurement shelf life testing, CheckMate 4 gives you the confidence your
packaging will keep your product fresh. Plus, its continuous-mode testing capability lets
you determine if your packaging gas mix needs to be adjusted. With accessories ranging
from the SmartPen needle, a barcode scanner for fast access to product test settings, and a
can piercer to measure headspace gas in cans, bottles and other similar containers, the
CheckMate 4 is a one-stop shop for your headspace testing needs.
It goes without saying, but none of this year’s exciting accomplishments would have
happened without our team of dedicated, fantastic employees. Throughout the year, we’ve
celebrated numerous milestones, with employees celebrating 25, and even 40 years
working for AMETEK MOCON! Our rich history in this industry began in
1966, and nearly
six decades later, we have become a global leader in gas detection and analysis.
Just as our employees play a key role in our success, so too do our customers. One of our
favorite parts of our work is getting to learn from our customers at industry trade shows.
Their insightful feedback helps us make every new product we release even better.
We’re excited for all the new year has to offer. From continuing to innovate (watch for
